how to hide or show a module by a vocal comand (mmm-assistantMk2)

There are many voice control modules about MagicMirror. Would anyone like to develop a voiceprint recognition modules for us? The voiceprint recognition modules integrate with voice control modules. When you say hello to MagicMirror, the mirror can answer you “Yes, my king. You have 2 new email…”. And when my wife say hello to MagicMirror, the mirror say “Yes, my queen. You have one appointment today”.

Hi everyone, this is my very first post and I am really happy that I have found this fantastic community. I am currently working on my first mirror and already set up the Pi. Works perfect! 🙂 VidMate I was thinking about the idea to show pictures on the mirror depending on the compliment which is shown at the mirror. What do you think about the idea? Would love to be able to “cast” a you tube video to my mirror… and have all the other modules disappear while it’s playing… then reappear when done. Anything like this exist?

I’m building a webapp to control the Magic Mirror but there is no way to add a profile without going into the config file.

At the moment, it does require the ability to click the play button upon launch. I’m looking into a workaround for that. As it turns out, the simple addition of ?autoplay=1 to the url gives the video stream the ability to auto start. So, no need to click anything. I love google! First search and the solution was right there! :thumbsup:

i have used the MMM-AssistantMK2 with MMM-Hotword at my previous MM instalation .It was so messy instaling that modules,with a lot of errors,deletes,start over but i have managed to get them work spending a lot of time .So i wish someone with the right knowledge to make a module or an instalation script that can install google assistant with the nice visual interface that MMM-AssistantMK2 is using,and a “ok google” trigger word. Just install,add the credentials file and the config.js part.I dont have the time and the Knowledge to do that .I dont even Know if it is possible,but it will be awesome!

I can’t believe nobody has made a funny or carnival mirror module yet. I understand you need a camera as well but I think it works be great. I wish I knew how to code this.
