I wonder if this could be recoded into a JS module? I’d like to work on this together with someone but I’m missing the abilities to know how and where to start. And I’m not common to Python. This module could show statistics on our mirror, running games and how much time is left for your turn. And later on maybe even a voice controlled round of Quizduell!?

Hello, I’m a graphic design student and this is my final project where I need to create a smart mirror for kids that displays a different cartoon character that kids could interact and move with (Similar to the AR in Snapchat lenses). I have already bought a raspberry Pi and all the materials for this project, but as I mentioned I only studied graphic so I have no background in programming or coding so I couldn’t write the code by myself. I’ve been looking for help for weeks but since I’m a student all I find is big companies that asks for a lot of money. **I will pay you for your help for sure! -Time due is in less than 3 weeks.

I did see someone have create a TTS module but what I understand is just for notice and not calendar or weather. And I have no idea how a user can get it to talk. That I looking for is use like iPad or Android to push on the screen and it start to talk.

Hi Guys. I am really keen to start building a Magic Mirror. I have been trying to think of a good use case so that my Mrs would be on board and actually enjoy using it. In our Kitchen we have a weekly meal planner so that we know on what day we are having fish and chips or what ever. Now i think the use case could be replacing the pen board we have and replacing it with a Magic Mirror. Just some back ground info we use Samsung SmartThings , Google home. So is it possible that we could display a weekly meal planner on the Magic Mirror? In order to get the info on the Magic Mirror it would be good to say Hey Google add Fish and Chips to Monday planner and it some hows adds this to a file or system that the Magic Mirror can pick up I love this idea combined with showing new and calendar infor on screen. It just seems to amazing. So is this possible or is it still far to Harry Potter? Thanks in advance

I am from Munich, Germany and really like the module MMM-mvgmunich which I use daily to show departure times from the station closest to my home. But since the Google API is costing money I would prefer to have a routing module with the api of the MVG: https://github.com/leftshift/python_mvg_api. Is there a programmer out there who can do that?

I’m using Shairport-sync to cast music to my mirror using Airplay from my iPhone, as I use Apple Music. Is there any voice control modules I can use to be able to tell my mirror to play music, and have it cast via Airplay to my mirror from my iPhone?
