:fireworks: I’ve just released MagicMirror² :fireworks: To make sure everything is future proof, I’ve moved around some branches on GitHub: The old version is now the v1.0.0 branch. The stable release is now the master branch. The development release is now the develop branch. If you send an Pull Request, make sure you’re using the development branch. Enjoy using your MagicMirror²!

I’ve just overhauled the installer script. It now checks if Node needs to be upgraded or installed and gives a bit more visual feedback. It will also prevent overwriting older installations. If you can, please test it and let me know if it works for you.

@MichMich Yes it does, But I have tested on a iMac. Installing on a raspberry pi, is little bit annoying. 0_1462962894899_npm-debug.log

The commands in nodenv are implemented in scripts. While, commands from nvm are implemented in functions, which means all the 4000+ line of code have to be parsed on shell startup and increases the shell init time dramatically. nodenv initializes much faster.

I think you can consider kiperlline, which is moderate in size and cheap, which is perfect for you. [https://jp.kiperline.com/](link url)

Hi Guys, I’m a first time poster, long time lurker and owner of an MM2 system. I’ve been using MM2 for about 5 or so years now, it’s morphed many times over the years to fit my needs. Currently, it runs atop a Pi3 and has time, family shared calendar, weather, dad jokes and displays a carousel of still snapshots from my outdoor cameras. Hi Everyone, When I started the Magic Mirror project over 2 years ago, I could have never guessed that it would become such a widely used concept. Not only did many of you built and improve my proof of concept, you also showed me the power and excitement of open source projects. I’m very grateful that @paviro took the time to set up this awesome place for sharing ideas, giving and getting support, and showing of your version of the MagicMirror. Together we can make MagicMirror even better, and i’m looking forward to working together with all of you! Keep up the good work! Cheers, Michael
