Bravo - excellent solution - it works!!! This has been bothering me for “years” now. Thanks for posting the solution to the missing special characters - in my case the special Danish characters æøåÆØÅ.

@doeadeer , No problem, your raspberry 3 will do the job for the google assistant project and the mirror, don’t worry. For the download just click on the file aiyprojects-2019-11-13.img.xz and flash it on an sd card (remember to format it in FAT32 before). Afterwards I leave you to look for tutorials to install the different programs (google wizard, magicmirror, etc.) Hoping that everything will go well ;) Creatib

Just implemented the ResueTime module that shows the computer usage. Now it has the same position as my network scan module. The scan module gets pretty big but because its only one line I dont care. The Time module then adjusts to the width of the scan module and gets way to big. I know that it can be smaller cause the scan module gets bigger the more it scans (ping, down/upload). Any way I can tell only to the rescuetime module it should stay smaller? picture of my problem

Hey, do you find any luck with this project? I also try to control my mirror through Google Home Mini. I’ve tried using MMM-AlexaControl, but yet, Google Home can’t find the device.

I cloned MMM-ASSISTANTMK2 and Snowboy in my RPi B+ . It’s working with voice. But when I give command to show image or video it doesn’t show and displays only link for it. Also i am unable to control My modules. Please help me to control Magic Mirror with Google assistant.

@sdetweil Oh no - I did had a corruption, I formatted and reinstalled everything again. Time for a backup!

@phil you will probably need to do npm install in some of the module folders when u change electron versions… I would do the test with the sample config… anyhow… u didn’t open this as a problem, so it can’t be closed…
