@Nneuland magicmirror is just an application. other things might be consuming CPU too. ssh in and run the top command. it will bring up a green of running processes sorted u CPU usage, high to low and it refreshes every few seconds. particularly when the system appears slowed down

I usually don’t do this and dig to the bottom of the problem, but this time I gave up and reverted back to Raspbian Buster and all my issues were solved. It seems that there are still some issues with RPi3b+ and Bullseye.

@sdetweil Hi Sam, thanks very much for your great scripts. They really work like charm! Basic installation of the MagicMirror really worked without any issue using your scripts. I am just fighting with some modules, which are obviously not up to date, but that’s a different story. At least I found the root cause of an issue with MMM_systemtemperature and I hope that I could help some other beginners who struggled with that module and did not get support in corresponding forum up to now…or just misunderstood the instructions in the forum. I want to thank you so much for the great work you are doing for the MM community!

@Nicoh This is a Ring Doorbell authentication issue. You have to go through the process again to generate the Ring Authentication Bearer Token and plug that into your Magic Mirror config file. You will have to repeat this process every month as Ring deactivates that bearer token every 30 days. Hope this helps, at least until ring sets up another option for us.

You need to do this with custom CSS. Have a quick google about it. But here is what someone else has done below for the default weather module. https://forum.magicmirror.builders/topic/14911/default-weather-module-modification-in-custom-css

@mr_cd Not really. I took another module for now. Here I have no foliage or Christmas trees, but until that applies, it still takes a little. { module: 'MMM-MyGarbage', position: 'top_left', header: 'Müllabfuhr', config: { alert: 4, weeksToDisplay: 2, limitTo: 99, fade: true, dateFormat: "dddd D MMMM", fadePoint: 0.25 } }, [image: 1647322397834-waste.png]
