Hallo, gestern so ca. gegen 16:00 - 19:00 Uhr hatte ich ständig Probleme mit den Seiten hier. Es kam ständig die Meldung das meine Internetverbindung anscheinend gestört wäre und der Inhalt des Forums war nicht aufrufbar. Lustig das ich im Internet bin, die Seite forum.magicmirror.builders aufrufen kann und sich alles aufbaut und dann die Meldung kam. Andere Seiten liefen wunderbar. Ist der Fehler bei MM bekannt? Dann sollte man die Meldung ändern weil Sie dem user suggeriert das es an ihm liegt.

It did not display properly in Safari on my iPad Pro but it worked fine on my iPhone 6 Plus. So I tested it on other iPad models (my brother’s iPad Mini 4 and my friend’s iPad Air 2), everything was just fine. So I guessed this was because of the out-of-date iOS version of my iPad Pro since they had installed the latest iOS. And my guess was right.

I’d also welcome a solution that the first few posts are somewhat restricted. For example, if you have a post count below 10, allow the start of only one thread every hour. Should be enough in the beginning. And then, would it be possible to implement a solution, that if a thread of someone in this restricted user group is flagged as spam (maybe by two or three people in the unrestricted user group in a short time), it will be unpublished immediately and marked for moderation? This forum is pretty civil and I’d think abuse of this function would be low to zero.

Ahhhh so it is only possible for the start post and you have to write them (not chose them). But it can easily be missed and that’s too bad. I have now added tags to my first post. I think tags is a great way to get to solutions or points of interest righter fast.

And now back to the same problems with IE and the iPad (Forbidden messages when attempting to log in). That seems to point towards something on the forum/account as opposed to the iPad. Ren

Reason is probably that I disabled Akismet.com because it had too many false positives :/ I just switched to reCAPTCHA maybe that will help a bit :)

@MichMich I’m not have “and has a proven track record!” but I’ve a lot experiency and deep knowledges in Linux systems, services and many things related. I can help you guys if you need it.

Seems that the problem fixed itself? No issue anymore at the moment (Dit a CTRL + scroll zooming some while ago on this website.
