@bhepler We are the third owner of this house. The first owner never used it, the second owner used it once with their grandkids, and we have used it once in the two years we have been here. Our hot water heater isn’t big enough to fill it… stupid

Hello, I am a creator who starts learning Magic Mirror. I always appreciate and respect open source developers. I hope someday I will be able to contribute. My 3 year old daughter likes to see a comic called Johnny Johnny Yes Papa on YouTube. So I made a simple application to have a conversation with Johnny Johnny. Here is full video for this, https://youtu.be/ittQUTBhCGM [image: 0_1546180919743_RA-TUTORIAL-004-MagicMirror-GA-JJYP.00_00_52_07.스틸001.png] [image: 0_1546181284794_RA-TUTORIAL-004-MagicMirror-GA-JJYP.00_13_15_06.스틸002.png]

@mdhenriksen yeah that’s not it I’ve made it visible in all, I changed it a while ago :) that’s how I noticed but if I go through it with VNC no errors at all, it’s got to be how the web page is handling it, I’ve got the mmm-Hue-Lights erroring as well only when I view it from that but most of the time I’m using the VNC to view it anyway so no real big deal just annoying when I do 😂

I would love to know how you implemented your Home Assistant panel as I would love to do that!!! Edit: figured that one out! Now I’d love to see more info on the button wiring and the code for Keybindings to call them

I’m using an evaluation Module - DLPDLCR2000EVM , about £100 UKP. Things to note: I think it was a limited run, Farnell have been sold out for some time, and digikey’s stock is dropping. Resolution is LOW 640x360 Its designed for a BeagleBone Black, I used a Pi Zero W adapter board from MickMake on tindie, needs soldering though. It’s powered off a 5v wall-wart, no battery (though I think MickMake may be working on that) no enclosure no firmware customization, it boots to a bright splash screen and then you have to fiddle around sending I2C commands. Soldered in you have NO GPIO left over for anything at all Soldered in the usb ports are inaccesible the zero w is somewhat underpowered, currently I’ve got MM running in docker on another Pi while I develop… I think you should be able to run both on the same device There’s a very faint blue patch visible when all is black, seems to be a design fault, I returned one, but the second is the same. All in all not perfect, but I’m used to that.

@Ramez I have tried to install the MagicMirror software from scratch in a raspberry pi zero w and I have not been able to, too many errors that I was not able to solve. In the end I found this image and I got it working. It works well, but not with very demanding modules, rather with the default modules and few others. Then there is the problem that I can not update the image because I also get many errors. Anyway, I’m happy with the final result.

@bkeyport Hi! I just fastened them to the back of the monitor/frame, then ran the wires down the bottom of the whole setup.
