@sdetweil Well I removed the package.json and packagelock.json from the folder MagicMirror sets in and ran your upgrade script and my MM loaded a whole lot faster and only time will tell if it is totally fixed or not… I appreciate your patients dealing with this issue. I will definitely add it to my saved stuff. I would like to try to use a different browser and see if it fixes a few other issues since I am using a 32 bit OS.

Over the past 3 or 4 months MMM-CurrencyExchange has stopped working, it just displays ‘Loading’ I have changed the api from apiBase: “http://api.exchangeratesapi.io/latest”, to apiBase: “http://api.exchangeratesapi.io/v1/latest”, and then “http://api.exchangeratesapi.io/v1/latest?access_key=xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx” as per the instructions at https://manage.exchangeratesapi.io/quickstart I have noticed that if I click on the link at https://manage.exchangeratesapi.io/quickstart I get { “error”:{ “code”:“https_access_restricted”, “message”:“Access Restricted - Your current Subscription Plan does not support HTTPS Encryption.” } } I assume that the http:// is being redirected to https:// and I don’t know of a way to force it back to http:// Has anyone any other thoughts or other suggestions for a GBP:EUR currency exchange module? A while back I posted that if you were using the National Weather Service and noticed it had quit, that was due to a lack of funds to purchase a piece of hardware that was long overdue for replacement. New Year, new hardware. You can pull multi-day or current so it is now up and running.

Hey guys! I’m using MMM-Spotify module, and mostly it works fine. The problem starts to appear after some time I had listened to spotify, the information on the screen stops updating. In the middle of some song it just ‘frezzes’ and dont update information anymore. I see the same previous songs information , even the time the song played stops at the time it froze. When I dont listen spotify on any device, it still shows the same information and doenst go back to Spotify logo. Anyone else had this isse, or maybe has solution/points where to look at? Only way currently to make it work again is restarting MM. Thanks for any input in advance :)

@sdetweil I went through the entire process of obtaining new Google Credentials and now it works. Must have been blip when I did the authentication yesterday. Sorry for troubling you.

@WookyDO can you show me the event from the ICS file? curl -sL cal_url >someicsfile.txt then edit to find the BEGIN:VEVENT .... ... END:VEVENT

@avano no. I’ll look at the event and set it back to 2013 start. I put in the fix cause there is a bug in rule with old events, where the count has expired…

@plainbroke there is NEVER any reason to upgrade, unless there is something you NEED . if it ain’t broke, don’t ‘fix’ it…

I had this problem and discovered I had my longitude and latitude reversed, putting me in the middle of the ocean, where traffic is pretty light. :)
